Simon and his team continually change the menu’s to make sure that the food is seasonal and local where possible. It reflects his fine dining background but tailored to the gastro pub relaxed environment.

We have a reputation for excellent steaks and on the last Friday of every month we have a steak night where there is a variety of cuts including sharing Cote du Beuf, Rib Eye, Fillet and Sirloin to mention a few for those who want a treat try the Chateau Briand.
Fish on Friday takes place on the first friday of every month, again there will be an exciting selection of locally caught fish including Lobster for those wanting something special.
Our drinks range reflects the high quality of the food we serve, with a great selection of wines, spirits and bottled and draft beers, as well as our constantly changing local guest ale.
We have a comprehensive list of fabulous wines from all over the world, listed according to their flavour and depth. New World wines, such as the Flagstone Word of Mouth Viognier dry white from South Africa, feature next to wines from the Old World such as the fruity, organically grown Don Jacobo Rioja Tinto Viticultura Ecológica from Spain.
We also stock a variety of sparkling wines, including the locally-produced Ridgeview from Ditchling.
